On June 30, 2020, the delivery of first batch vehicles of new Geely Englon TX and the launch ceremony of new product line of Cao Cao Travel was held in Yiwu, one of the Geely Commercial Vehicle Bases. 50 new TX vehicles will serve Cao Cao Travel in this delivery, and a brand new public transportation trend will be appearing in the Yiwu EV market for the first time.

As the power battery provider of Geely Englon’s new TX vehicles, Sunwoda obtained the business point of Geely Commercial Vehicle Englon’s TX-CN6 project in August 2018, and was designated by Geely Commercial Vehicle Research Institute as the battery system provider of Geely Englon’s new TX vehicles. During the cooperation, Sunwoda actively cooperated with Geely Commercial Vehicle Research Institute and technical team of UK for product development. With the joint efforts of the three parties, the project successfully completed all the test verification and carried out mass production in April 2020.

In the domestic market, TX vehicles have been put on market in batch in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Hangzhou and other cities, and has been used as the designated car serving the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, EXPO2010, The 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, World Youth Olympic Games and other large events. This project responded to the call of environmental and low-carbon travel to serve the high-end business travel market as the core, and create high-quality and high-end travel experience for users. It is worth mentioning that the TX series of vehicles adopts EREV model with power battery system of Sunwoda’s Pack, with a range of up to 700KM and a pure battery range of up to 200km, and 2000 TX vehicles are expected in 2020.
